Bloom Energy's full-year guidance is the only number that matters at Q3 earnings

Bloom Energy, which makes solid oxide fuel cell systems that convert natural gas, biogas, propane and hydrogen into electricity without combustion, is set to report third-quarter results in the final week of October, according to The Motley Fool. The stock has risen roughly 2,350% over the past three years, and the question heading into earnings is whether management raises full-year guidance for a third consecutive quarter.

The Motley Fool reports that Bloom entered 2026 expecting revenue of $3.1 billion to $3.3 billion, a 53% to 63% increase year over year. After the first quarter, it lifted that range to $3.4 billion to $3.8 billion, implying 68% to 88% growth. After the second quarter, it raised again to $3.9 billion to $4.2 billion, or 93% to 108% growth. Each revision has been driven by demand from AI data centers, which have turned to Bloom's systems partly because they can be deployed quickly and bypass traditional power grids.

The guidance trajectory is the story here. Two consecutive raises have already moved the stock, and a third would signal that data center demand is not plateauing. A hold or a cut would raise the opposite question: whether the first half pulled forward orders that are not repeating at the same pace.

What the piece does not establish is the margin picture, the backlog composition, or how much of the revised guidance is already contracted versus still subject to customer decisions. Revenue growth at this rate can mask deteriorating unit economics, and a reader watching this name should want those figures alongside the top-line number when the report drops.

The publication discloses that it holds a position in Bloom Energy and recommends the stock. That context is relevant when weighing the framing of the piece.
